Adelaide Belly Dance Expo

The Adelaide Belly Dance Expo will be the conclusion to The Adelaide Belly Dance Festival weekend and will attract the general public as well as a large crowd of local and interstate dancers keen to shop for everything bellydance and enjoy diverse dance performances in a relaxed market style atmosphere.

Vendor Information

Stall holders selling all things belly dance related such as costuming, jewellery, music and dance wear as well as clothing and beauty products are most suited but we will consider all applications for diversity. Sorry, no food stalls.

The Venue
The Adelaide Belly Dance Expo will be held at The Arts Centre located on Gawler Street in Port Noarlunga, 34km South of Adelaide CBD. 
The venue is a large, beautifully appointed air conditioned building and has professional lighting, modern amenities and plenty of free parking. 
Stalls will be allocated in order of registration utilizing different themed spaces throughout the Arts Centre. The Performance Theatre will be dedicated to Belly Dance related wares. The Foyer will showcase the Mystique exhibition artists' stalls and the Rehearsal Studio will transform into the "Belly Dance Oasis Lounge" A Wellness and Beauty space with massage, Henna, beauty products and the like.

THE MAIN HALL IS NOW FULLY BOOKED. PLACES ARE STILL AVAILABLE IN THE "BELLY DANCE OASIS LOUNGE" FOR HENNA, MASSAGE, BEAUTY PRODUCTS, CANDLES ETC.

Vendors can display and sell their goods with plenty of space for customers to walk, look and shop. Customers are encouraged to stay and watch the entertainment. 

Event Time
Customers enter between 10am - 2pm
Vendors may arrive at 9:00am to set up. Pack down is from 2-3pm.

Access
There is a loading bay directly from the car park into the venue.

The Cost
To ensure optimum selling opportunities for each vendor and to provide extra space for the comfort of customers, we have designated categories for 3 different types of vendors. Due to the high demand vendors may only book 1 category.  (2.6% booking fee applies)

The Vendor Categories: Tables measure 1.8 X 0.7m 

  • Small $35: 1 table 1 vendor, no hanging space. Your table is placed directly beside your neighbor's.
  • Medium $70: 1 table plus 1.5m hanging space - vendor + 1 assistant
  • Large $190: 3 tables (or equivalent space) with back-wall - vendor + 2 assistants

terms and conditions

Stalls will be allocated in order of registration.

Full payment is required with your application to confirm your booking, We cannot "Hold" spaces. 

The walls of the venue may not be used for any purpose.   

The vendor is responsible and must pay for any damage to the venue caused by any non allowed activities carried on at their stall.   

Merchandise must stay within your allocated space and rubbish cleared away at the end of the day.  The stall may not be used for any purpose other than that described below.

Vendors are required to either produce a Certificate Of Currency Of Insurance or complete the declaration below.

Promotion
I agree to:
Promote the Festival pro-actively including Word of Mouth. 
Promote the festival and display links on my website. 
I will display the Facebook cover/banner provided to me in the weeks leading up to the festival.
Invite all my relevant contacts to the Facebook Event Page.
“Share” relevant Festival posts on Social Media.
