THE ARTS CENTRE
The Old Institute Building
Gawler St, Port Noarlunga

Located in the beautiful and historic seaside village of  Port Noarlunga 34 km South of Adelaide. The Arts Centre is a flexible arts space which comprises the following:

  • Three dedicated art gallery spaces—The Foyer, Onkaparinga and Linear
  • The Performance Space—a flexible space which is ideally suited for workshops, the market day, performances and cabarets
  • Rehearsal Studio 1—a large rehearsal room with full length mirrors, ideally suited for dance.
  • Visual Arts Studio—with great natural light, it is ideal for seminars and costume workshops.
  • Rehearsal Studio 2—suitable for smaller dance workshops.

Public Transport and Parking

Public transport from Adelaide city is via train to Noarlunga interchange. The Arts Centre is 3km from the train station and there is a connecting bus to Stop 72 or 73. For more information visit Adelaide Metro

The Art Centre has it's own car park and parking is free.

Accommodation

If you are looking to book accommodation in beautiful Port Noarlunga we recommend The Coast Motel and Apartments which is a short drive to the Arts Centre, has a cafe and offers a range of room sizes and configurations for those wanting to share a room with their dance sisters.
**BOOK EARLY ** Port Noarlunga is a holiday destination and being a long weekend it will book out!

Alternatively if you would like to stay with a local Belly Dancer who is attending the festival or if you would like to offer a bed to a visiting dancer you can connect through the Facebook group

Meals

Port Noarlunga's main street is dotted with artisan cafes and fantastic restaurants. A few favourites are The Fleurieu Pantry, Agatha's cafe and Beck's Bakehouse

  • On arrival at The Arts Centre please register at the info desk.
  • Please arrive on time for workshops
  • Bring Water, pen and paper.
  • Photos and video filming inside workshops is at the discretion of the teacher. Please ask first. Photos are fine in the social areas.
  • Strictly no video filming or flash photography at the evening events.
