Angie Ashri is a professional Dancer, who began her career in Adelaide. With a Diploma in Performing Arts, she has appeared in many stage shows, including performances at The Royal Adelaide Show, Stereosonic Music Festival and a residency at Night Train Theatre Restaurant.
Angie was cast in a Folkloric production in Luxor, Egypt, marking the beginning of her Bellydance and Folklore training with Husan Afifi. Her dance career then sent her on a journey of the stages of Egypt, Libya and Lebanon, entertaining royalty and tourists from many countries. As well as appearing in Egyptian movies and in various theatre productions.
Now she has returned to Adelaide and enjoys performing for corporate and private events. Most recently, appearing in the Adelaide Fringe Festival.
